The Charles Cummins O.D. Group is an independent Optometry group that has served the eye care needs of New Jersey for over 40 years with over 30 locations. Our Doctors provide comprehensive eye care including general eye care services, such as those seeking eyeglasses and contact lens vision correction, and medical eye care. Our Doctors are caring and compassionate and welcome the entire family, including adults and children, to allow us to serve their eye care needs.

Francesca Pinho is an optometrist at Charles Cummins O.D. Group with 7 years of experience. She has been with the company since 2018 and worked at Cohen Fashion Optical in Staten Island prior to starting her job at Visionworks. Currently, Francesca is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians (NJSOP) and truly enjoys helping others with their visual needs. Francesca was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She graduated from Felician University (2013, Rutherford, NJ) prior to attending SUNY College of Optometry through the 3/4 joint degree optometry program. When not at work, Francesca can be found in her craft room making personalized gifts. She also loves spending time with her husband and two dogs, Cosmo and Cooper.

Dr. Nancy Phung is an optometrist working at Charles Cummins O.D. Group since 2022. Nancy was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated Rutgers University with a major in Biology and went to Pennsylvania College of Optometry—Salus University. When not at work, Nancy enjoys physical fitness activities, such as pilates and dance cardio. She also loves music and is learning how to play the ukulele.

Dr. Martin Goldman is an optometrist with 55 years of experience. He has been practicing at Charles Cummins O.D. Group since 2012. He attended Monmouth College undergrad and received B.S. and O.D. degrees at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a United States Army veteran who served as a captain with the 101st Airborne Division in South Vietnam and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star for his service. He was in private practice for 10 years before joining with Drs Elliot Shack and Charles Cummins at Eye DRX. He spends his spare time with Debbie, his wife of 41 years. He has two sons, two daughters and two grandchildren. His hobbies are following his beloved New York Giants and Yankees.
